She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Diane was a very caring person, supporting and encouraging her family and anyone who came her way. Diane had a successful career as Loeb’s Deli Manager, her deli and dessert trays were enjoyed at many community events. She was very talented in flower design that started with the family’s nursery business-Calhoun Flowers, and continued part time at Ross’s Flowers which became a hobby designing silk flower arrangements. Diane along with the love of her life, Dave, appreciated travels to British Columbia, Florida and Pigeon Forge meeting new people and enjoying great restaurants along the way. Diane loved a good card game at home with family and friends or curling up with a good book. Over the past few years Diane looked forward to and appreciated phone calls from everyone who reached out. Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to join family at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham for a joint celebration of both Diane and David’s lives.
