Dana Brandon Lecocq, of Chatham, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the age of 44. Son of Maurice and Elaine Makey. Brother of Jason (Melanie). Dana will also be missed by his niece Grace, and his uncle Gary, Aunt Pat and family. Dana grew up in Chatham and attended school in his own neighbourhood going to McNaughton Ave Public School and Chatham Kent Secondary School. Time spent with family was important to Dana. His parents, especially his mom who Dana felt the closest to, Jason, Melanie, and his niece Grace made a difference in his life. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, and missed them dearly when they passed away. Dana enjoyed video games, watching TV, chatting with friends, and listening to music. Dana loved to cheer for his Vancouver Canucks and Oakland Athletics. His favourite song was For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica. He also enjoyed playing with his cat Oreo. A family graveside service will take place at Stewart Cemetery.
