With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dan Whittington on Thursday October 21, 2021 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Chatham 67 years ago. Son of Walter and Ethel Whittington. Husband of Sharyl for  45  years. Father of Justin (Michelle), Megan (Giles) and Travis (Katelyn). Grandfather of Emma, Alex, Sadie, Joseph, Kali, Kamilla and Kamryn. Brother of Tom Whittington. Predeceased by his sister Darlene and brother Ray. Survived by sister-in-law Daphne McClure and brothers-in-law Curtis McClure, Robert Aulis and Grant Aulis. Also survived by father and mother-in-law Robert and Clara Aulis. He also loved his dog Maddy. Dan will always be remembered as a hard working man that provided for his family. Working for Cargill for nearly 40 years, Dan is widely known and well liked  by  many. A celebration of Dan’s life will be planned at a later date.
