Obituary for Crystal Ford
It is with broken hearts the family of Crystal Dawn Ford, aka "Babes" announce her passing on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at the age of 62. She will be missed by her loving partner of 40 years, Greg Latford, her brother Scott Ford (Sherry Lynn), and sister Beth Hamelin-Matthews (Drey). She was the caring aunt of Mitch Ford (Marci) of Calgary, and Cody Ford (Heather) of Edmonton, and the cherished cousin of Kenny Broadbent (Kristi), and Kevin Broadbent (Celeste). Crystal will also be missed by many great nieces, great nephews, many friends, and her favourite furry companion Molly. Crystal was predeceased by her parents Allan (2022) and Joanne Ford (nee Broadbent)(2010).
Crystal exuded love everywhere she went. She enjoyed bowling, being a top bowler at Bowlerama for many years. She also thoroughly enjoyed swimming, programs at her church, including prayer groups, and bingo. Her infectious laughter and smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Crystal's family will be remembering her privately. Interment will take place at Pardoville Union Cemetery.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Crystal be made to either Community Living, Chatham-Kent Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
