Constance Jean James, 77, of Chatham, Ontario, passed away peacefully the morning of May 30th, 2019. Connie was born on September 28, 1941 in Chatham to the late William and Ila Glenn. She is survived by her husband Ronald James to whom she was married on September 14th, 1963, her son Paul (Tamara) James; and two grandchildren Spencer and Hannah. She is also survived by her sister Dayle (Steven) Rogers. Connie is predeceased by her sister Gloria Young. Connie dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God and symbolized that dedication by her baptism November 20th, 1971. She believed as did God’s servant Job who asked “If a man dies, can he live again?…. You will call, and I will answer you.” She looked forward to her resurrection into a paradise earth in the near future. Her family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus-Cardiac Care Unit, London Regional Cancer Program at LHSC and especially the nurses, volunteers and students at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. There will be a memorial service held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9375 River Line, Chatham, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to support the worldwide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses at http://donate.jw.org
