Clare Alexander Laird, a resident of Chatham, went to be with the Lord on Friday Oct 27, 2017. Born in Ridgetown in 1933, beloved husband of Margaret (Colwell) and father to Mark (Denise), Philip (Brenda) and James. Doting grandpa to Matthew (Alyssum) Laird and Jessica (Ben) Martin. Dear Great Grandpa to Hope, Grant, Drew, Weston and Allie. Dear Brother to Ken, Mary Balzer, Joan Johnson and Lynn Fieck. Predeceased by siblings Don, Elsie, Jack, Ruth, Ray, Catherine, Barbara, Harold, and Gwen. Visitation will take place on Thursday November 2, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church 100 McNaughton Ave W., Chatham. Funeral Service will take place on Friday November 3, at 11:00am at Emmanuel Baptist Church with one hour of visitation prior to the service.
