It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Brian J. O’Mara. He died peacefully at home on July 19, 2022. Survived by his partner Marilyn Hueston. Leaving behind his sons Darcy O’Mara (Angelina), Billy Glassford (Janna), Christopher Glassford, James Glassford, and Michael Glassford (Fatima). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Everhett O’Mara, Jacob and Chandler Glassford, Jak and Jillien Pinnance, and Dakota, Zach, and Alexis. Brian will also be missed by his loving sister Beth Ogletree (Ron), brother Gary Ogletree (Carlene), brothers-in-law Robert Heuston, Stephen Heuston (Lue), and sisters-in-law Donna Grabec (Joe), Karen Kalp (Dan), and Shelley Heuston, special nieces and nephews Paul Smith (Rebecca), Robert Heuston (Carmela), Natalie Heuston (Jeff), Steve Heuston (Ron), Michelle Heuston, and Casandra and Sonja Melhuish. Brian is predeceased by his loving mother Leona Verhoeven-O’Mara (1970) and his loving father Michael O’Mara(1986) and step-mom Lena O’Mara (2003), mother-in-law Martha Heuston (2018) and sister-in -law Kristine Baulay (2016).
Brian enjoyed talking to all of the interveners Sally, Chris, Cheri, Lisa, and Peggy when they came to the house to pick up Shelley. He enjoyed time with his best friends, for years, the Furlan Family, Frank and Shirley, Frankie and Laura, Perry and Deb and Frankie! “Keep those tomatoes rolling.”
