Obituary for Brent Bourdeau

With heavy hearts we announce the untimely passing of Brent Bourdeau, age 63, Friday October 18, 2019 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, surrounded by his family and friends. Cherished son of Beryl (Hopper) Bourdeau of Chatham. Dear father of Danielle Bourdeau (Matthew Maunder). Dear brother of Brenda Glassco and her husband Gray of Chatham, and the late Beth Bourdeau. Special uncle to Ashley Glassco.  Also survived by Grand-Dog Harley. He will be remembered by his aunt Joyce and (the late Bob Wilton) of Oshawa and (the late uncle Roy and Donna Hopper) of Burlington. Brent enjoyed many years working as a professional decorator and painter. He will be remembered as a lover of music, hockey, cooking, biking, good food and good company. He also enjoyed a good laugh with classic Monty Python and The Vinyl Cafe. A favourite quote being, “He’s pining for the Fjords!”. Brent was extremely proud of his beloved daughter Danielle. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Brent’s life and reception at the Links of Kent, Chatham, Ontario, Saturday November 23rd, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Expression of remembrance may be made to a charity of choice. Special thanks to the staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Maple City Residence.
