Bradley Allan Schaafsma, 32, passed away tragically of a motorcycle accident on July 6, 2018. He is survived by his parents, Allan and JoAnn Schaafsma of Chatham and fiance, Erynn Organ of St Thomas . Brother of Shelly(Ken)DeJong and Jessica (Ryan)Pierce. Uncle B to Liam, Livia and Ally. Grandson of the late Henk and Renske Schaafsma and late Ale and Hyke Zondervan. Bradley will also be missed by the Organ family, Erynn’s grandparents, Pat and Betty Namock, parents Chuck and Kaye Organ of London, and her brother Ian Organ as well as Grandparents Don and Claire Organ, Cathy Burns and the late Ole Norgaard. He is cherished by his Uncle James and Aunt Irene Schaafsma of Sparta and Aunts Aneta Zondervan of Chatham and Ingrid Geris of Grand Bend as well as many, many other Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Bradley was always surrounded by many wonderful and close friends. He worked at MTO in London and had a passion for motorcycles, cycling, his family, especially his nieces and nephew and Erynn and her family. He was a member of SOAR, taught the M1 Exit Course, and loved the outdoors. Brad was organized, meticulous, always had a plan, was goal oriented and knew what he wanted and went for it! He worked hard and played hard! Brad was not only the life of the party but he brought the party and his distinct tone of voice could always be heard above everyone else in the room. Family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday July 12, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 34 Victoria Ave., Chatham. All are welcome to attend a memorial service to celebrate Brad’s life on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St Paul’s Congregational church, 450 Park Ave. W., Chatham.
