Audrey “Dena” Wilson passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance at 65 years of age.   Dena and Bruce were married for 33 years prior to his passing in 2007.   She deeply loved her children Melinda Eldridge (Jeff), the late Matthew Wilson, Patricia denBoer, Bonnie Amaral (Andrew) and Nathan Wilson.  Her grandchildren were a wonderful blessing to her.  She will be missed by Avery, Mackenzie, Sydney, Zachary, the late Serenity, Isaiah, Destiny, Cody, Kaleb, Emma, Anderson and Aiden.   Dena will be remembered with love by her sisters Jean Frisina (Nat), the late Mary Lapierre, Matthew Milford Wilson (Line) and John Wilson (Karen).  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Her family and friends will remember Dena as a mentor, teacher and survivor,  She was giving and supportive.  Dena lifted others up with encouragement and  kindness.  Her door was always open and she took care of her own family plus many “children of the heart”.  Dena was all of these wonderful things wrapped up in a little package of sass! There will be a n evening memorial service to honour Dena on Tuesday, October 29th at 6 pm at Evangel Community Church.  In lieu of flowers, please give a donation to Chatham-Kent Hospice.  Online condolences can be left at  lifetransitions.ca
