Obituary for Andrew Lawson
A celebration of life in Andy's memory will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1pm to 4pm at the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg.
On November 28, 2022, Chatham resident Andrew "Andy" George Lawson passed away suddenly at the age of 66 years, at Windsor Regional Hospital. Son of the late George and Eleanor Lawson (nee Harding) from London, Ontario.
Andy's handyman skills, creativity, and sassy nature will be missed by many. He loved the outdoors, cooking, Led Zeppelin and classic cars. Whenever he would talk about his latest woodworking projects, he would add his famous tagline, "but it's Funky". He is survived and kept in memory by his wife Leah (nee Bulley), stepchildren Milissa (Robert), Magwood, and John Forgie. He will also be missed by grandchildren Kenneth, Vanessa, and great grandchild, Cirilla. Andy is also survived by brothers Doug (Sharlene), Ed, Kevin (Denise), and reunited with his sister, Gale. Camping trips won't be the same for nephews Scott and Shaun Hamleton, and daily rants and recipes will be missed by Mandee. Remembered by brother and sister in laws Elaine, Edna, Robert (Sholeh), Laura (Cori), Edgar (Lorrie), David (Susan) and Bernice (Kevin) and good friends Glenn, Richard, Paul and Marion.
