Allan Trudell passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Tuesday, June 29 th , 2021 after a brief illness. He will be forever loved and forever remembered by all who knew him.  He was survived by his wife Karen L. Givens (Trudell). Father of Monique L. Givens, (Michael Tucker), Matthew Trudell (Tracey Eckmeir), Mike Trudell and stepson (Brenden Givens). Grandfather of Ryker, Beau, Carter, Step grandchildren – Bryson, Devon, Dillion, Carlee. Brother of Gail Pratt, (Late Keith), Jim Trudell (Betty), Larry Trudell, Jeff Trudell (Doris), Janet Bond (Brent), Ann Trudell (Dean), Predeceased by Jack Trudell, Gary Butler (Stephanie), David Butler (Lynda), Dan Butler (Jennifer), Gayle Butler (Arturo). Al married the woman of his dreams, Karen married her hero. He wore a cape but didn’t need a phonebooth…he truly was her Superman. The love and laughter shared between them was so deep and admired by so many, most will never experience that kind of love in a lifetime. Some might say their love story is one in a million. He loved spending time with his daughter, Monique and stepson Brenden in Texas. Hanging out, relaxing and enjoying a glass of red wine together. Al enjoyed hockey with his boys, especially attending Red Wings games in Detroit. He loved being “fun” grandpa to all his grandchildren watching them grow, play and just being silly. He was so loved by his brothers and sisters, the love that they had for each other was unbreakable. They were always there for him, attending every gig that they could. They were so close that for each birthday (all 8 of them) always managed to celebrate a birthday together no matter whose home it was at. Al had a passion for music and his voice was heard throughout the music community in many areas such as Chatham, Windsor, Sarnia, Detroit, Port Huron & surrounding areas. His influence and encouragement was felt by many. Hard work and dedication to his instrument, singing and song-writing was inspiring to all. To know him was to love him and that was seen in all aspects of his life. Friendship meant the world to Al, he valued each and everyone. Being his friend was easy, he let you be you with no judgements. Always there with his spontaneous sense of humour, contagious laugh bringing endless smiles and so much fun that you never wanted the moment to end. Al always had a smile on his face, a joke on his lips, a song in his heart all of which will be truly missed and never forgotten. Due to Covid, funeral is by invitation only and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation the Cancer Society. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
