Allan Sim passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his infant daughter Dawn, his fur babies Linus and Charlie Brown and his parents, Douglas and Bessie Sim.  Allan is survived by his brother Gord, his sister Cathy and his very dear friend John (Jackie).  Uncle Al was well loved by his nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. Al’s impact on this world was felt by everyone he met.  He had many friends, and was always looking for opportunities to learn and to help people.  It was impossible to not be endeared by his kindness, his quick wit and his beautiful smile.  When faced with adversity, he was determined not to quit. A private celebration of Al’s life will be held by his family.  Memorial donations in Al’s name may be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice.
